Layer upon layer in soft French hues, this original mixed media piece is built on (wood cradle board 12 × 12”) finished by hand with delicate details throughout. A raised central panel wood cradle board (6 × 6”) The top painting has a beautiful vintage inspired vase with tiny golden garlands surrounding one precious blushing heart hand stitched with tiny crystals, antique mirror sequins and the tiniest copper seed beads (just a wink) A wee faded flower - vintage wallpaper. The torn life of long ago curtains layers under holding the memories tight. The large painting has layers, layers of painting, torn vintage book pages, blue hand painted tissues and over all of this I hand painted a garden of pale blush stems (forever holding love in each bloom)

Torn edges of gold leaf catch the light like age-worn gilding, adding warmth and radiance.
