Velvet Relics “Reliques de Velours” ~ Balancing Hope

These feel like something discovered in a drawer in an old French house, wrapped in tissue, carrying a little history and a little celebration all at once. Velvet, silk, crystals, handwork these can be worn as necklaces or hung in a shrine or any place you desire simple beauty. These feel like jewelry and keepsakes together.

Honeydew hand dyed velvet that is over the top lush. Rows of crystals are stitched along the sides of heart. Tiny bits of silk hand dyed ribbons playfully dance around. The dip in the heart you will find a tiny antique iridescent heart in silver is stitched. The cord of gold threads has been looped finely by hand then stitched with beads, crystals and tiny blush silk ribbon bits. The details are so much prettier in person. I had a hard time photographing every tiny detail.

The heart measures 2.5” tall by 2.5” wide. The cord length with heart measures 15.5” long
