Velvet Relics "Reliques de Velours" ~ Little Altars of the Heart ~ Midnight Starlight

These feel like something discovered in a drawer in an old French house, wrapped in tissue, carrying a little history and a little celebration all at once. Velvet, silk, crystals, handwork these can be worn as necklaces or hung in a shrine or any place you desire simple beauty. These feel like jewelry and keepsakes together.

Deep rich pink hand dyed velvet that is over the top lush. Rows of starlight blue crystals are stitched along the sides of heart. Tiny bits of silk hand dyed ribbons playfully dance around. The front of the heart has a beautiful sliver of vintage dress fabric from the 1940’s with golden crystal and stitches. The cord of pink threads has been looped finely by hand then stitched with beads, crystals and tiny blush silk ribbon bits, large fresh water pearls complete this beauty.

The details are so much prettier in person. I had a hard time photographing every tiny detail.

The heart measures 2.25” tall by 2.25” wide. The cord length with heart measures 13.5” long
