Layer upon layer in soft French hues, this original mixed media piece is built on (wood cradle board 12 × 12”) finished by hand with delicate details throughout. A raised central panel wood cradle board (4 × 4”) the sweetest bird lays softly below a hand stitched heart adorned with vintage and glass beads. Layering fabric torn underneath the top layer. A sweet piece of coral a gift from the sea rests below the beautiful bird.

Torn edges of gold leaf catch the light like age-worn gilding, adding warmth and radiance.
