This vintage elephant lamp is so special with the raised ornate hand-painted patterns and gold trim. I had this sitting on my desk in my studio for many years and then I would move it to bookshelves and back again. The little shade was so tattered I actually used this lamp with no shade. I do know finding a small shade would not be hard. Perfect condition, works great. Nothing but, charm here + light. I adore how the elephants colors glow under the light.

• Design: The lamp depicts a Japanese elephant carrying a pagoda structure on its back, with ornate hand-painted patterns and gold trim. 

• Base: The ceramic elephant is mounted on a carved wooden base. 

• Era: Similar lamps date back to the early to mid-20th century.

Elephant measures = 6” long x 8.5” tall (including the light bulb socket)
