Shining your own star is flying inside a pastel sky of fluffy teal clouds and pale pink sunshine. Painted with watercolors and acrylics on thin watercolor paper. Then stitched with torn pieces of tea stained cloth and beaded with tiny glass seed beads. Golden metallic thread stitches this piece to a heavy watercolor paper. One more layer of crisp white watercolor paper underneath then for good measure I have a happy abstract painting as the final layer beneath.
This is such a special piece. The shimmers are gorgeous when caught by light.
