I adore marigolds - they are super old school pretty, the scent takes me back to my childhood. I like planting every different variety I can find. So when illustrating this bunny she looked to me like she needed a bunch of greens with a few multi colored marigolds. I believe she is most happy with my decision.
Illustrated on watercolor paper with hand torn edges then place on red art handmade paper (for that added pop)
